Dr. Muhammad Salama, who is responsible for caring for the girl, said that she was born weighing 1.4 kg, and the doctors performed a quick emergency caesarean section. Her health condition is stable, and she is gradually improving.

The baby was born in the thirtieth week of pregnancy, and her mother is Sabreen Al-Sakani. The child was placed in one of Rafah’s hospital incubators, and a sticker was placed on her chest with the words “Daughter of the martyr Sabreen Al-Sakani.”

Naming the surviving child “Rooh”
One of the girl’s relatives said that her sister, who was martyred in the Israeli raid on the city of Rafah, “Malak,” wanted to name her “Rouh,” adding, “She has gone as an angel and a soul has come to life. She will live as an orphan,” stressing that the child will be in the hospital for a period between 3 to 4 months. Before the doctors allowed her to leave.
