Egypt Daily News-President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron.

The official spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, said that the call dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them in various fields, in accordance with the historical and strategic nature that distinguishes cooperation between the two countries.

The call between the two presidents also discussed developments in the situation in Gaza and the efforts taken to achieve a permanent ceasefire.
