Blinken assures Netanyahu of US opposition to the attack on Rafah

Egypt Daily News- A US official revealed on Wednesday that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken assured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Washington's opposition to the attack on Rafah.

According to the US State Department, during his meeting with Netanyahu, Blinken indicated an improvement in the arrival of aid to Gaza, but urged more. The meeting between Blinken and Netanyahu, which was held at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem

.For his part, Netanyahu told the US Secretary of State: “We will not accept an agreement that includes ending the war.” The Israeli Prime Minister added: "If Hamas does not abandon this request, there will be no agreement and Israel will invade Rafah."

Initially, there was a closed meeting between the two, followed by a meeting of the work teams from both parties.
