EgyptDailyNews - Engineer Ahmed Mahmoud, Executive Director of the House of Representatives construction project in the Administrative Capital, said that the Parliament building is being implemented in the Administrative Capital on 26 acres, and the building is a basement, ground and 8 floors, and in the middle is the main assembly hall, including an upper dome at a height of 65 meters and above it a railing with a height of 74 meters .

Mahmoud added, in statements to Al-Hayat Al-Youm program: Parliament building includes 2 domes with a diameter of 50 meters, and the main hall accommodates 1,000 members, and the building includes administrative offices.

He pointed out that the project was completed in just two years, as work is carried out over 3 shifts, and one shift accommodates 4,500 workers, including engineers, productive workers and supervisory crews.

He continued: "Next to a service building consisting of an underground garage with a surface area of 74 thousand meters with a capacity of 1,500 cars, it also includes a number of service buildings, including the medical center, the security building, the power station building, the electromechanical building and the fire station, in addition to fences, internal roads and green spaces."
