Cracks in Two Adjacent Houses
The collapse of the building caused cracks in two neighboring houses, which were evacuated in preparation for a decision to be made regarding their safety. The relevant investigative authorities have ordered the formation of an engineering committee from the Giza Governorate to inspect the neighboring buildings to assess the extent of their damage from the collapse.
Investigators listened to the statements of the injured to uncover the circumstances surrounding the building’s collapse. Preliminary investigations and information revealed that a gas cylinder explosion occurred on the upper floor, leading to the collapse.
