Egypt Daily News – 2025 Chinese and Korean cars prices in Egypt face a significant drop, expert reveals the reasons. A major decline in car prices is currently taking place, as some dealers have reduced prices due to the market slowdown. Drop in Car Prices in 2025
Abdel Salam Abdel Jawad, a member of the Automotive Division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, stated that car prices have significantly decreased locally due to a decline in purchasing rates. He explained that supply has increased recently, especially after the government reopened commercial imports, leading to a surplus of vehicles compared to the end of last year. Additionally, some dealers have reduced prices to attract buyers, with some cars seeing price drops ranging between 40,000 and 170,000 EGP.
In a statement Abdel Jawad pointed out that the first three months of each year usually witness a slowdown in car sales, as consumers prioritize other expenses. He also noted that Egyptian consumers tend to wait for further price reductions despite the current decline, leading to hesitation in purchasing. He confirmed that the market is currently stable and that there are no instances of overpricing.

Abdel Jawad advised consumers to take advantage of the current prices and not to wait, as prices may fluctuate starting in April when market activity picks up. He emphasized that prices will remain stable as long as the exchange rate of the dollar does not change and supply remains steady.
