Egypt Daily News – The Israeli occupation continued its attacks on the Gaza Strip, with an escalation of war crimes, massacres, and attempts to displace the population of the northern Strip.
Palestinian media reported that the occupation army committed five new massacres in the Gaza Strip, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded, and carried out massive bombing operations of homes in the center and north of the Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed 5 massacres within 24 hours, resulting in the arrival of 88 martyrs and 208 injured to hospitals.
The number of victims of the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023 has risen to 45,805 martyrs and 109,064 injured. Haaretz newspaper reported that a relative of an Israeli detainee in Gaza quoted a senior official in the negotiating team as saying that returning detainees is not a priority for the government.
Hamas wants to release these people. The official confirmed that the Israeli army does not know the location of all the detainees, adding that the army is trying to reduce the possibility of the prisoners being injured during the attacks on the Gaza Strip, but it does not know where all the prisoners are being held, and there is a possibility that they will be injured.
The official pointed out that despite the destruction of most of Hamas’ infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, the organization will not disappear immediately, and therefore we must continue to work against it. The relative of the detainee confirmed that the official’s statements raise concern about the government’s priorities, and the official responded that his concern is justified.
On the ground, the Israeli army continued its incursion into the central Gaza Strip, where it carried out extensive bulldozing operations of agricultural lands and blew up residential squares in the vicinity of the garbage dump east of the city of Deir al-Balah, according to eyewitnesses.
Palestinian media quoted eyewitnesses as saying that Israeli military vehicles penetrating Deir al-Balah fired intermittently in the eastern areas of the city.
It was reported that the Israeli army carried out massive bombing operations on homes in the Al-Saftawi neighborhood, and the occupation tanks fired shells at homes in the neighborhood northwest of Gaza City. The media reported that the Israeli army bombed the National Arab Baptist Hospital and its surroundings in Gaza City, causing a state of terror among medical personnel and patients, especially children and women.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that, in two days, it bombed more than 100 targets in various parts of the Gaza Strip, and claimed to have eliminated dozens of Hamas fighters, last Friday and Saturday.
