Egypt Daily News – During a visit to Majdal Shams in the occupied Golan Heights, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the missile incident that claimed the lives of 12 children, which he attributed to Hezbollah with Iranian backing.

In a post on the social media platform X, he described the missile attack as a “horrific disaster” and stated that the Israeli response would be severe. Netanyahu highlighted the suffering of the Druze community due to the conflict.

Despite Israel’s accusation against Hezbollah regarding the missile launch, the group denied any involvement. In light of the escalating tensions, Egypt expressed concerns about the potential for a new front in Lebanon to lead to a wider regional conflict. The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the need for international intervention to prevent further turmoil and protect regional stability.
