Egypt Daily News – Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have escalated significantly, as confirmed by the Israeli occupation army’s statement today, Tuesday.

The military reported that 15 missiles were launched from southern Lebanon targeting the northern Israeli settlements of Yaron, Yiftah, and Metulla. Additionally, there were drone incursions from southern Lebanon, with one noted explosion occurring in the Beit Hillel region.

In response, the Israeli Air Force has conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in the southern Lebanese towns of Aita al-Shaab and Kafr Kila. Reports indicate that Israeli aircraft have also targeted the areas of Hula and Markab.

Furthermore, Israeli firefighting teams are currently battling multiple blazes in the Upper Galilee, attributed to the missile attacks from Lebanon. There has been tragic news from the town of Hagoshrim, where one individual was killed after a rocket strike, reportedly linked to Katyusha rockets fired by Hezbollah targeting the Sahel Brigade’s command structure based at Beit Hillel barracks.

The ongoing hostilities have created an atmosphere of alarm and urgency, with air raid sirens sounding in Kiryat Shmona and surrounding areas. It was reported that another rocket shell landed in Hagoshrim, injuring another person seriously. The situation remains tense and continues to evolve with potential for further escalation.
