Egypt Daily News – Reports indicate that an Israeli bombardment, utilizing white phosphorus munitions, targeted the town of Kunine in southern Lebanon.

This assault coincided with missile launches from southern Lebanon towards an Israeli site in Al-Samaqa within the Shebaa Farms area, along with the activation of interceptor missiles from the Iron Dome system over Rashaya Al-Fakhar.

Additionally, Israeli artillery fire hit the outskirts of several towns, including Burj al-Muluk, Naqoura, and Kafr Hamam, while an Israeli drone struck Burj al-Muluk. A raid targeting the town of Kafr Kila resulted in moderate injuries to three individuals.

In a separate report, an Israeli military drone crashed in the Debel area of southern Lebanon, attributed to a technical malfunction. The skies over the Bekaa Valley and Baalbek region in northeastern Lebanon observed heightened activity from Israeli reconnaissance aircraft.

Amid escalating tensions, the Lebanese Army reaffirmed its ongoing coordination with UNIFIL forces as part of the provisions set out in Resolution 1701.

In response to the volatile situation, several airlines, including Air France and Transavia, extended the suspension of flights to Beirut until Wednesday. Additionally, the Lufthansa Group announced the suspension of all flights to and from Tel Aviv, Tehran, Beirut, Amman, and Erbil until August 21, while Swiss Airlines also extended its flight suspension to and from Tel Aviv and Beirut until tomorrow.
