Egypt Daily News – In response to recent statements made by Khaled Meshaal, the head of the Hamas movement abroad, Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz issued a severe threat regarding Meshaal’s safety.

This follows Meshaal’s audio message in which he signaled a willingness to escalate violent operations against Israel. Katz’s comments emphasized a strong resolve from Israel to eliminate threats posed by Meshaal and his associates, suggesting that actions would be taken more decisively this time around.

Meshaal’s statements were part of a press conference held in Istanbul by the International Al-Quds Foundation, where he praised recent martyrdom operations in the West Bank and advocated for heightened resistance against Israel.

He called on young people across the Islamic world to mobilize on university campuses to protest against U.S. support for Israel and to spark a new wave of demonstrations aimed at opposing the ongoing Israeli conflicts, particularly in Gaza.

As the academic year begins and the anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood approaches, Meshaal urged preparations for a renewed intifada, which he believes could invigorate the Palestinian resistance and send a strong message internationally to halt aggression against Gaza.

This exchange of threats and calls for action points to an escalating cycle of tension between Israel and Hamas.
