Hezbollah's leadership killed

Egypt Daily News – The Israeli army has announced in its military operations against Hezbollah, that it has have eliminated much of the Hezbollah’s leadership structure through a series of targeted airstrikes in southern Lebanon, particularly in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

This latest round of strikes has reportedly dealt a severe blow to Hezbollah, a major militant group in Lebanon.

Among those killed in the recent strikes was Ahmad Wahbi, who led Hezbollah’s Radwan unit, and Ibrahim Aqil, the founder and leader of its elite Al-Ridwan Force.

These casualties follow a string of high-profile assassinations, including the killing of Fouad Shukr, a key military leader and one of Hezbollah’s founders, and Sami Abdullah, known as “Haj Abu Talib,” the leader of the “Victory Unit.” Other notable figures such as the commanders of the Aziz unit and the missile unit within the Al-Ridwan unit have also been targeted, adding to the list of significant casualties.

Hezbollah’s military structure is centralized under the “Jihad Council,” which includes senior leaders and the Secretary-General, who oversees military strategies and decisions.

The group’s operational capabilities involve various specialized units, including those responsible for missile enhancement, reconnaissance, and drone operations.

The Israeli military has indicated it will continue to target any threats to Israel’s security across all fronts, suggesting that the current phase of operations against Hezbollah is far from over.

This ongoing conflict poses heightened risks in the region, as both sides prepare for potential further escalations.
