Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon

Egypt Daily News – Sources have stated that the Israeli army continued its aggression against southern Lebanon in the past hours, launching more than 20 airstrikes targeting several southern Lebanese towns across all sectors, whether the eastern sector, the central sector, or the western sector of southern Lebanon.

They added that Israel targeted several towns in the central sector of southern Lebanon, in addition to a number of towns in the eastern sector of the south, specifically the town of Marjeyoun, which was subjected to a barrage of artillery shells and airstrikes in the past few hours.

“The town of Marjeyoun has become almost empty of residents due to the displacement of more than 30,000 people to the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in the largest wave of displacement in a single day.”

Hezbollah has also announced the execution of qualitative operations targeting several Israeli sites, as the number of operations carried out by Hezbollah from southern Lebanon reached 18 operations against Israeli sites, the latest of which was the targeting of a military naval site of the occupation army with a swarm of attack drones, in addition to targeting airports, factories, and ammunition depots belonging to the occupation army.
