Egypt Daily News – Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Iranian Supreme Leader, has called on all Muslims to support the people of Lebanon and the Hezbollah group in light of recent events.

This statement came after the Israeli military claimed to have killed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah. Khamenei emphasized the duty of Muslims to stand with Hezbollah and assist them in their struggle against what he described as an oppressive entity.

He expressed confidence that resistance forces in the region would rally around Hezbollah as a significant force determining the future of the area.

Following Nasrallah’s confirmed death, Iranian media also reported that Abbas Neelforoushan, the deputy commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, was killed in the same Israeli airstrike in Beirut.

In response to these developments, Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian attributed part of the responsibility for Nasrallah’s death to the United States, accusing them of complicity with Israel due to their ongoing military support.

Nasser Kanaani, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, vowed that the legacy of Nasrallah would endure and that his aspirations for the liberation of Jerusalem would eventually be fulfilled.

Meanwhile, reports indicated that Khamenei has been relocated to a secure area within Iran, accompanied by heightened security measures. Iranian officials have maintained communication with Hezbollah and allied groups to strategize their response following the significant loss of Nasrallah.
