Egypt Daily News – An Iranian official reported that flights at Iranian airports were suspended for nine hours, coinciding with growing fears of retaliation from Israel following a missile attack launched by Iran.

Israeli media suggest that Israel is preparing a response, potentially in light of the 200 missiles Iran fired towards Israel last Tuesday, which Iran claimed was in retaliation for the assassination of senior Hamas and Hezbollah officials.

The Iranian authorities indicated their readiness to respond to any Israeli actions, with military sources emphasizing that there are numerous potential targets within Israel.

Iran’s Foreign Minister has also warned of a possibly stronger retaliation for any attacks on the Islamic Republic, reinforcing the sentiment that any Israeli military moves will trigger a decisive Iranian counter-strike.

As the situation unfolds, both nations appear to be on high alert, with Iran stressing its capabilities to conduct a range of counter-strikes based on the nature of any Israeli operation. This ongoing escalation signals a precarious balance in the region, with the potential for further military confrontations.
