Egypt Daily News – Reports from Hasbaya in southern Lebanon, stating that the Israeli warplanes launched a series of intense airstrikes targeting the outskirts and areas of the southern border towns, specifically in the central sector of southern Lebanon around the town of Ramieh.
The reports added that a series of airstrikes targeted the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Kounine, as well as several other towns in the area where the Israeli occupation army has been attempting to advance on land over the past few days, indicating that the intensity of these airstrikes means the Israeli army is preparing for a new ground operation through the Ramiah and Maroun al-Ras areas.
It continued: “The occupation targeted the depths of southern Lebanon, reaching the city of Nabatieh, which has been subjected in the past few minutes to a series of airstrikes, the most intense since the beginning of tensions in southern Lebanon.
These airstrikes targeted populated areas and markets in the city of Nabatieh, which is located a considerable distance from the southern Lebanese border.”
