Egypt Daily News – U.S. President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that his vice president, Kamala Harris, “will carve her own path” once she wins the 2024 election, allowing for more distance between her and him as she works to win over skeptical voters three weeks before Election Day.

He added, “Kamala will lead the country in her own direction, and this is one of the most important differences in this election.” He added, “Kamala’s perspective on our issues will be new and innovative.” As for Donald Trump’s viewpoint, it is outdated, failed, and frankly, completely insincere.

Biden’s statements may give Harris more freedom to define her political positions and directions during the critical phase of the presidential race, and Biden’s remarks seem more inclined to distance himself from what Harris herself has done.

Some of the vice president’s aides, in particular, had expressed their frustration that the 81-year-old president was focusing too much on his own legacy instead of the race to succeed him.

Harris has recently faced increasing pressure to clarify how her governance of the country would differ from Biden’s, a matter more complex beneath the surface than it may appear.
