Egypt Daily News – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has declared a shift to a new and escalatory phase in its confrontations with the Israeli military. In a recent statement, the Operations Room claimed significant Israeli casualties, reporting the deaths and injuries of 555 Israeli soldiers since the beginning of ground operations near the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

The statement detailed that the Israeli army has deployed approximately 70,000 personnel, supported by numerous tanks and military vehicles, to engage in confrontations at various sectors towards southern Lebanon.

In contrast, it claimed that hundreds of Islamic Resistance fighters remained prepared for potential incursions into Lebanese villages.

Recent clashes have reportedly intensified, particularly in areas such as Adaisseh, Rab Tlassin, and Blida. The Islamic Resistance asserts that its fighters successfully ambushed Israeli forces, resulting in heavy Israeli losses including 10 fatalities and over 150 injuries, alongside the destruction of several armored vehicles.

The statement also highlighted the ongoing use of missile and drone capabilities, with the Islamic Resistance reportedly targeting Israeli military installations and positions both along the border and deeper in occupied territories.

They noted advancements in their missile technology, including precision missiles and kamikaze drones.

Additionally, the Air Defense Unit has claimed success in downing Israeli reconnaissance drones, further potentially increasing the strain on Israeli military operations.

The report concludes with a reiteration of the Resistance’s commitment to an escalated confrontation with Israel, signaling forthcoming developments in the ongoing conflict.

The announcement underscores a significant intensification in hostilities amid a complex and volatile regional context.
