Egypt Daily News – Actor Moustafa Fahmi has passed away after losing a battle to a brain tumor, he was 82. He began his artistic career as part of the filming team for the movie “Amirat Hubbi Ana” in 1974.

In the same year, he had his first on-camera experience in the film “Ayna Aqli” alongside Soad Hosny, Rushdy Abaza, and Mahmoud Yassin. He then launched into the world of art, presenting a series of significant films with major stars, including “Maw’id Ma’a Al-Qadar,” “Ayam Fi Al-Halal,” “Qamar Al-Zaman,” “Al-Rahma Ya Nas,” “Sa’oud Bilad Dumu’a,” “Al-Ashiqah,” “Al-Nadam,” “Al-Bint Al-Li Qalat La,” “Al-Millionaire Al-Nashala,” “Imra’a Fi Dammi,” “Imra’a Qatalaha Al-Hob,” “Adra’a Walakin,” “Bint Ghair Kol Al-Banat,” “Ayna Aqli,” “Nabda’ Minain Al-Hikaya,” and “Haka Al-Ayam.” His last cinematic works were in the films “Al-Sarb” and “Ahl Al-Kahf.”

Mustafa Fahmy also presented a large number of successful television specials, including “Bab Al-Naggar” with Dina Abdullah and Yousri Mustafa, written by Fathi Saad and directed by Hassan Bashir, and the special “Al-Farasha” starring Laila Elwi and Elham Shahin, written by Ibrahim Al-Jarwani and directed by Faiz Hijab.

The late Mustafa Fahmy also presented many dramatic series that had a significant impact on the audience in the Arab world, including “Tears in Eyes of a Deceitful,” “Love and Other Things,” “The Digger,” “Hayat El-Johari,” “A Woman’s Journey,” “Yesterday’s Story,” “The Minister’s Case,” “The Kingdom of Youssef El-Maghrabi,” “Malika,” “Velvet Silk,” and “Mamoun and His Partners.”
