Egypt Daily News – Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, said that the consultations with his Tunisian counterpart reflected a similarity of visions regarding developing bilateral relations.
This came during a joint press conference with Ali Al-Nafti, Tunisian Foreign Minister, on Wednesday.

He added, “We cherish the historical relations with sisterly Tunisia, and we are working to expand cooperation with Tunisia in several areas, including clean energy production, and we are working to develop relations with Tunisia more quickly, especially regarding political consultation and economic cooperation.”

Ali Al-Nafti, Tunisian Foreign Minister, said: We appreciate President Sisi’s efforts to help the Palestinian people and support their just cause. This came during a joint press conference with Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, on Wednesday.

He added that the successive developments in the region call for unifying ranks and positions to confront the current challenges.

The Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Tunisia stressed the importance of preserving Syria’s unity and respecting the will of its people.
