Egypt Daily News – The Israeli army evacuated residents of the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams refugee camps in Tulkarm as part of their ongoing aggression against northern areas, in line with a declared plan to fragment the West Bank to control and annex parts of it. It bulldozed streets and destroyed infrastructure during their raid on the town of Qabatiya in Jenin. They also broke into the façade of the Jordan Bank, bulldozed the main street from the entrance of the village of Al-Shuhada to the town, and uprooted dozens of olive and almond saplings in the Al-Kabarat area west of Nahalin in Bethlehem.
The media observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation documented Israeli crimes against Palestinians between February 18–24, 2025, reporting 69 martyrs. Seven were killed by occupation forces in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Hebron, ten in Gaza amid Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, and 52 whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble in Gaza. The number of injured reached 73, and 198 Palestinians were arrested in the West Bank. Since October 7, 2023, until February 24, 2025, the total number of martyrs has reached 49,269, with 118,464 wounded.
The storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards by Israeli extremists has become a daily occurrence. Meanwhile, occupation forces violated the sanctity of a mosque in the village of Burqa, Nablus, stopping the Asr prayer and conducting field interrogations with worshippers. They also raided and searched Salah al-Din Mosque in Abu Dis, Jerusalem, and settlers stormed the Abu Al-Ouf shrine in the town of Sinjil.
Regarding attacks on the education sector, occupation forces prevented teachers and students from entering the Ibrahimi School in Hebron’s Old City for several consecutive days. They also raided five schools run by UNRWA, detaining and forcing staff to evacuate students and close them as part of a ban on UNRWA activities. Additionally, they raided the Qalandia Vocational Training Institute in the Qalandia refugee camp, ordering its evacuation within days, stormed the Arab Mleihaat School in Jericho, and detained four Palestinians who were installing surveillance cameras at the school.
Concerning land and property confiscation, the Israeli army issued a military order to seize half a dunam of land in Sebastia and Deir Sharaf for a settler road serving a new pastoral settlement outpost. They also confiscated a tractor in Qalqilya, a bulldozer in Nablus, a mixer and a cement pump in Salfit, and two private vehicles in Nablus and Ramallah. Meanwhile, settlers damaged a bulldozer and a tractor in Kafr Qaddum, Qalqilya, set fire to a vehicle in Hebron, and destroyed heavy machinery and light vehicles.
The organization’s observatory recorded the demolition of 41 homes in Jerusalem, Salfit, Tulkarm, Hebron, and Nablus, as well as the burning of five homes in Tulkarm, Jenin, and Jerusalem. Occupation forces also issued demolition warnings for 25 agricultural rooms in Duma, Nablus. Additionally, settlers demolished and burned more than seven livestock pens and rooms in Hebron, Kafr Qaddum, and Jerusalem, destroyed a commercial shop in Nablus, and leveled lands and stone walls.
Over just seven days, Israeli crimes totaled 1,315 incidents across the occupied Palestinian territories, including settlement expansion and settler raids. There were eight settlement expansion activities, during which the Israeli Supreme Planning Council announced a detailed plan to expand the “Etz Ephraim” settlement by seizing 21 dunams from the village of Mas-ha for 73 new settlement units. Meanwhile, Israeli authorities began procedures to build 974 more units on 644 dunams to expand the “Efrat” settlement on Bethlehem land.
Settlers also worked on preparing a dirt road after barring Palestinians from reaching Ein al-Sakut in the northern Jordan Valley. Others placed mobile homes in the northern Jordan Valley and Hebron to establish new outposts and prevented Palestinians from accessing their land in an area near the town of Samu in Hebron. Some settlers engaged in construction and land leveling to expand an outpost near the Tayasir checkpoint, while others occupied an abandoned military site in the village of Bardala, Tubas, in preparation for establishing another outpost.
Settlers launched 42 attacks on Palestinian towns and villages in a single week. They set fire to four water pumps supplying 2,000 dunams, destroyed a greenhouse, and stole more than 554 sheep and a horse in Ramallah, Tubas, and Jericho. They also burned two vehicles in Hebron and Jerusalem, stole money and gold jewelry from the Kaabneh Bedouins in Ramallah, sabotaged two bulldozers, cut olive tree branches in Qalqilya, and looted artifacts from an archaeological site near Sinjil in Ramallah. Additionally, a settler from the “Bnei Hever” settlement in Hebron demolished a cattle pen and seized a generator, agricultural equipment, and digging tools.
Settlers also chased a Palestinian vehicle, causing it to overturn and injure the passengers. A Palestinian was martyred after his car collided with a speeding Israeli military jeep. Settlers also gathered along the road between Jericho and Ramallah and attacked a Palestinian driver after his vehicle slid due to rain.
