Harris and Trump

Egypt Daily News – With the countdown to the U.S. presidential election set for tomorrow, Tuesday, one of the most renowned political historians in the United States has made a new statement predicting the identities of the occupants of the White House.

The “Democratic” history professor Allan Lichtman, who was one of the few to predict the victory of Republican candidate Trump in 2016 over his Democratic opponent at the time, Hillary Clinton, predicted the victory of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

The 77-year-old presidential historian reiterated in an interview with CNN today, Monday, what he announced last September that Harris will defeat Trump tomorrow, Tuesday.

He also added that despite all the polls and the rise of hate speech and division, he still believes in the victory of the Democratic candidate.

However, he pointed out that if he makes a mistake, it’s okay, and it will be the only time he makes a mistake in his predictions over many years.

The specialist in modern American history and quantitative methods at Harvard University had previously announced that Harris would be the next president. He said last September: “.. This is my expectation… But the outcome is up to the voter, so go out and vote.”

It is noted that Lichtman, who uses a method he developed in 1981 with mathematician Vladimir Keilis-Borok to make his predictions, predicted in 2008 the election of the first Black president, and indeed Barack Obama won at that time.

As he predicted in 2016, Trump won against Clinton, which indeed happened.
