Earlier today, Friday, the Houthis announced that they had targeted Ben Gurion Airport in Israel with a ballistic missile and targeted a ship near Socotra with drones.
They said in its statement that the attack came within the framework of what it described as support for the Palestinian resistance and escalation of operations against the Israeli aggression.
These developments come in light of escalating regional tensions, as the Houthi group recently announced its willingness to expand the scope of its military operations to what it described as “legitimate targets” outside the borders of Yemen.
Until now, no official comments have been issued by the Israeli side.
