Egypt Daily News – The Central Bank of Egypt revealed that the volume of external debt to Egypt reached 155.204 billion dollars at the end of September 2024 (the first quarter of 2024/2025) compared to 152.9 billion dollars at the end of June 2024, and about 164.521 billion dollars at the end of the first quarter of 2023/2024.
According to a report issued by the Central Bank, a long -term external debt recorded about 127.538 billion dollars at the end of September 2024 compared to 126.8 billion dollars at the end of June 2024.
Short -term debts recorded about 27.665 billion dollars at the end of September, compared to $ 26.024 billion at the end of June 2024.
He explained that the foreign debt balances due to the government recorded 80.374 billion dollars at the end of September, compared to 80.178 billion dollars at the end of last June.
The volume of debts owed to the central bank recorded about 35.019 billion dollars at the end of September, compared to 34.668 billion dollars at the end of June 2024.
