After receiving "Blackout Reports" President Sisi: This issue must end as soon as possible

Egypt Daily News - The problem and crisis that is most preoccupying people in Egypt currently is the power outage crisis after the period of blackouts reached 5 hours in some areas and for all people of different groups and social classes, the issue of electricity has become a terrifying nightmare, impatiently waiting to know when it might end and life returns to normal.

State agencies prepare reports on the crisis and submit them to the Presidency. In the last few hours, there has been an important development and a new movement that could make a major breakthrough in the electricity crisis. So what happened? What did President Sisi tell the government? How can blackouts be stopped, or at least reduced?

President Sisi held more than one meeting in the last hours to reach the most radical solutions to one of the most difficult crises that Egypt is suffering from in the recent period, the main reason for which is the lack of quantities of liquefied gas necessary to operate electricity production plants for many reasons, the most important of which is of course the crisis of foreign currency scarcity.

He gave strict instructions to the Prime Minister to solve the power outage crisis as quickly as possible and said that even if the crisis will not end completely, do the maximum to reduce the time of blackouts. The crisis is looking to end by the end of July when the imported natural gas will be delivered.
