Hajj pilgrims at Arafat

Egypt Daily News - Amid an atmosphere of faith filled with spirituality, the pilgrims of the Holy House of God spend the best day on which the sun rises, the Day of Arafat. An atmosphere of faith prevailed in the pilgrims’ camps amidst continuous invocations, prayers, and remembrances since the early hours of this morning, and with the sunset of this day, the crowds of pilgrims begin their journey to Muzdalifah.

The process of moving the pilgrims, which began yesterday afternoon, Friday, was successful. It was carried out through a solid plan supervised by the Hajj Tourism Mission, and the Saudi field service companies and about 1,298 companies executing the Hajj this year participated in its implementation. The great efforts made by the Saudi authorities and all their agencies, which helped in the success of the escalation of the pilgrims. It contributed to the ease of transporting pilgrims and the absence of crowding despite the large numbers.

Pilgrims were moved directly to Arafat without spending the night in Mina on the Tarwiyah night, in order to ensure the comfort and safety of the pilgrims. The electronic operations succeeded through the presence of bus barcodes and smart cards for pilgrims and the presence of a list of the names of the passengers of each bus, with the bus doors closed and not opened until after reaching Arafat. 

It is notable to mention that H.H. Prince Mohamed Bin Salman had cancelled his trip to the G7 meeting in Italy to personally supervise the Hajj season and which has been flawless.
