Egypt Daily News - A high-ranking Egyptian source confirmed on Saturday that the negotiations hosted by Cairo to approve a truce agreement in the Gaza Strip are “witnessing remarkable progress.”

A delegation from the Hamas movement arrived in Egypt on Saturday, to continue discussions regarding a truce agreement with Israel in the Gaza Strip, according to Cairo News Channel. The channel, quoting a high-ranking Egyptian source, reported “significant progress in the negotiations.”

She pointed out that the Egyptian security delegation in charge of the negotiations "reached a consensus formula on many of the points of disagreement."
