Statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates:

The Arab Republic of Egypt condemns the statements attributed to Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, during a television talk show, which included claims regarding Israel’s entitlement to lands belonging to Arab states. Egypt considers these remarks a blatant violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

Egypt also expresses its astonishment at the issuance of such statements, which contradict the vision put forward by U.S. President Donald Trump and the twenty related points concerning ending the war in the Gaza Strip, as well as the Peace Council Conference held in Washington on February 19, 2026.

Egypt reaffirms that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories or any other Arab lands, stressing its categorical rejection of any attempts to annex the West Bank or separate it from the Gaza Strip, as well as its rejection of expanding settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory.
