UAE President, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, pardons the three Zamalek Club players

Egypt Daily News – The Emirates News Agency “WAM” reported that the UAE President, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, decided to pardon three players from Zamalek Club who were accused in the events of the football match between Zamalek and Pyramids Clubs.

The UAE news agency “WAM” reported that the pardon for the three Egyptian players came in light of the fraternal relations between the UAE and Egypt.

Earlier the spokesperson for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mohamed El-Shazly, revealed the ongoing follow-up regarding the arrival of the Zamalek trio with the Emirati authorities.

Mohamed El-Shazly explained that the Egyptian government succeeded in communicating and coordinating with the Emirati authorities and institutions to resolve the crisis of the three Zamalek Club members detained in the United Arab Emirates.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, thanked all the concerned parties in the sisterly United Arab Emirates for their efforts in resolving the crisis and the issuance of the pardon by the President of the UAE.

The plane carrying the Zamalek trio is scheduled to arrive at Cairo International Airport at exactly 5 PM.
