Egypt Daily News – Within the framework of supporting distinguished relations, enhancing military cooperation and exchanging experiences with the armed forces of friendly countries, the joint Egyptian-Saudi military drills “Piercing Arrow” were launched, and will continue over several days within the southern military region of Egypt, with the participation of elements of the land, air and naval forces of the Egyptian and Saudi special forces.
The drills includes the implementation of many theoretical and practical activities, including the forces participating in the training planning and managing joint land, air and sea combat operations to hone the skills of commanders and officers in managing operations, as well as exchanging experiences between the participating forces to reach the highest rates of efficiency and readiness to carry out any joint missions under various circumstances.
The training also includes a number of activities of a professional nature for members of the Special Forces and Ground Forces participating in the training.
