This year Egyptians witnessed large turnout of citizens who were keen to perform the prayer and celebrate the holiday. The official website of the Presidency of the Republic posted a video of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi performing the Eid Al-Fitr prayer this morning, Monday, at the Mosque of Field Marshal Tantawi in the Fifth Settlement area.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the presidency, stated that after the prayer, President El-Sisi attended the Eid Al-Fitr celebration organized at the Manara International Conference Center, with the participation of the families of the martyrs of the Armed Forces and Police, along with several injured individuals.
The celebration began with a documentary film titled “Eid Memories,” followed by a performance of Eid songs by the Children’s Choir of the Egyptian Opera House. The event included several artistic segments, with participation from a number of artists.

The spokesperson added that during the celebration, the president honored several families of martyrs and injured members of the Armed Forces and Police, in recognition of their sacrifices for the country.
The event concluded with the president taking commemorative photos with the children and families of the martyrs, sharing in their joy and celebration of Eid Al-Fitr, in an atmosphere filled with happiness and joy.
President El-Sisi participated in the Eid Al-Fitr celebration amidst the presence of the families of martyrs from the Armed Forces and Police, as well as a number of injured military and police personnel, in his effort to share in the joy of the families of the heroes on this special occasion.
President El-Sisi performed the Eid prayer at the Mosque of Field Marshal Tantawi and listened to the Eid sermon, in the presence of senior state officials and the families of the martyrs, who were part of this national occasion.
