Egypt Daily News – Two officials from the US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, said that the Department is working on plans to withdraw all American forces from Syria, according to the American “NBC News” network.

The two officials indicated that Donald Trump and officials close to him recently expressed their interest in withdrawing American forces from Syria; this prompted Pentagon officials to start plans to completely withdraw within 30, 60 or 90 days.

According to the American network, Mike Waltz’s new national security advisor, at the US Central Command headquarters in Tampa, Florida, met, with senior American military leaders and was briefed about the Middle East, according to officials of the Pentagon.

One of the correspondents asked Trump, last Thursday, at the press conference in the Oval Office about reports that he had informed the Israeli government about the withdrawal of American forces from Syria. Trump replied, “I do not know who said that, but we will make a decision on that, we will not interfere in Syria,” adding that “Syria is its own chaos. They have enough chaos there, they don’t want us to interfere in everything. ”
