Egypt Daily News – On Tuesday, Hezbollah targeted Israeli military sites near Acre in northern Israel by a drone attack,

Concurrently, Israeli media reported an explosion involving a drone close to Nahariya. A Hezbollah source clarified to Reuters that this attack was not expressly a retaliation for the recent killing of the group’s military leader, Fouad Shukr, in Beirut, despite the group’s earlier vow to avenge his death.

This has heightened concerns over a potential escalation that could lead to full-scale conflict.

According to the Times of Israel, alerts were triggered in several northern Israeli towns, such as Acre, warning of incoming missiles and drones.

Following the drone attack, at least six individuals were reported hospitalized, four due to shrapnel wounds and two suffering from severe anxiety attacks.

This incident signals ongoing tensions in the region, as Hezbollah’s actions come amidst broader concerns about their intentions following Shukr’s death.
