Egypt Daily News – In its 11th official statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced for the first time that it had launched Sejjil ballistic missiles, with a range of 2,000 kilometers, targeting Israeli territory during the latest wave of its military operation, “The Honest Promise 3.”

According to Tasnim News Agency, the IRGC’s public relations division stated that the twelfth wave of the operation included the deployment of Sejjil missiles—a class of very heavy, long-range, two-stage solid-fuel missiles—marking a major escalation in Iran’s missile use.

In the statement, the IRGC addressed residents of Israeli-occupied Jerusalem, declaring:
“The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the brave support of the Iranian people, have previously dismantled the Zionist regime’s air defense systems in several operations. Now, the skies over the occupied territories have opened wide to Iran’s missiles and drones.”

The statement went on to say that missile strikes will be impactful and continuous, adding:
“Yesterday, Mossad and Aman headquarters, along with Israeli Air Force fighter bases across the occupied territories, were directly targeted.”

Referencing a warning previously issued by the IRGC’s commander, the statement added:
“The gates of hell have been opened upon you. The missiles of the IRGC Aerospace Force will not let you spend a single moment outside your underground shelters. Days have passed without you seeing sunlight. Know this: the sound of sirens will not stop. You must now choose—either a slow death in hellish conditions inside bunkers or save yourselves by fleeing the land your ancestors stole, before it’s too late.”

This announcement underscores a dramatic intensification in both rhetoric and military tactics from Iran, particularly through the use of its most advanced missile technology to date. The use of Sejjil missiles, which are harder to intercept due to their solid-fuel technology and long range, represents a serious development in the ongoing conflict.
