Egypt Daily News – Sources reported that Israeli aircraft carried out nearly 80 airstrikes in just 40 minutes on several areas in southern Lebanon and the Western Bekaa, primarily targeting hills, valleys, and riverbeds.

The airstrikes targeted the heights of Al-Rihani, Al-Mahmoudiya, Al-Qatrani, and the course of the Litani River in Zawtar Al-Sharqiya, Juba, and the valleys of Kfar Melki, Deir Zahani, Zefta, Zbaqin, Deir Amis, Sheihin, and Al-Baysariyya in southern Lebanon.

The wave of Israeli airstrikes also targeted the outskirts of the town of Kafr Mulki, Wadi al-Zarariyah, Ansar, and the outskirts of Frun in southern Lebanon.

Israel also launched a series of airstrikes targeting the area between the Zahrani Valley and Rumain in the Zahrani district, deep in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army announced earlier today that its air force attacked around 180 targets belonging to “Hezbollah,” in a new wave of strikes on Lebanon.

The Israeli army decided on Saturday to close the airspace in northern areas of the country for 24 hours due to security tensions following the assassination on Friday of a prominent military leader in Hezbollah in an airstrike on Beirut.

The Lebanese “Hezbollah” announced that its fighters targeted today the Israeli site of Ramtha in the Kfarshouba hills and the Israeli barracks in Zabdine in the Shebaa Farms with rocket fire, achieving a direct hit.
