Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon has resulted in 72 killed and hundreds injured

Egypt Daily News – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, that Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon resulted in the martyrdom of 72 civilians and injured hundreds others, according to the Lebanese news agency.

Earlier today, Wednesday, Ahmed Sinjab, a correspondent for “Cairo News,” reported from southern Lebanon that a series of intense Israeli airstrikes targeted towns in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley in the east of the country.

Sanjab added that more than 14 Israeli airstrikes targeted villages and towns in the south and east of the country this morning.

The Lebanese news agency confirmed that Israeli occupation aircraft carried out a series of intense airstrikes targeting several Lebanese towns, causing significant damage to property due to Israeli raids on the town of Shaheediya in southern Lebanon.

The warplanes targeted an airstrike that, for the first time, aimed at the area between the towns of Jiyeh and Saadiyat, north of the city of Sidon.

The Israeli jet fighters also launched airstrikes on the city of Baalbek and the towns of Nabi Sheet, Shaat, Sarin, Mashghara, Sahmar, Yuhmur, Labaya, Qalya, Maidoun, Al-Nahri, and Al-Nasiriya in the Bekaa.
