Israeli army reach the Litany river

Egypt Daily News – The Israeli occupation announced that elements of the Golani Brigade reached the Litany river in Lebanon and Wadi Saluki in the Nabatieh region.

They said, in a statement, that it “raided the Saluki area, the resistance infrastructure in the region,” noting that it found “hundreds of weapons, dozens of underground infrastructure, and dozens of ready-made missile launchers,” according to what was reported by Ma’an News Agency.

The statement continued, “A squad from the Alexandroni Brigade, which includes reserve forces from the 769th Brigade, the Golani Brigade, and the Shaldag Unit, carried out a raid after intelligence information became available about the presence of many infrastructures that were hidden along the path of the Litany river, in the complex terrain.”

The Israeli army added that its members “attacked a number of targets, clashed face-to-face with resistance fighters, and found and destroyed dozens of launching pads, thousands of rockets and shells, and ammunition caches hidden at the foot of the mountain, including cannons.”
