Egypt Daily News – Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with a number of men from the Third Field Army and the East Canal Counter-Terrorism Forces, in the presence of Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and a number of senior commanders of the Armed Forces, which comes within the framework of a series of meetings.
A series of meetings are carried out by the General Command of the Armed Forces to monitor the readiness of the Armed Forces and their efforts to protect Egyptian national security.
Major General Staff Hisham Shendi, Commander of the Third Field Army, delivered a speech in which he pointed to the keenness of the men of the Third Field Army to rise to the highest levels of combat efficiency and preserve weapons and equipment to be able to carry out all the tasks entrusted to them in defending the nation’s security and territorial integrity.
Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to the attendees. He also stressed the keenness of the political leadership and the General Command of the Armed Forces to develop Egyptian military capabilities and keep pace with modern science in armament systems and military manufacturing in cooperation with major international armament companies.
Paying attention to the individual combatant administratively, training, and morally, so that the men of the armed forces, with their strong will and unyielding determination, continue to perform the sacred tasks assigned to them is given great importance as well.
The Minister of Defense and Military Production, affirmed that the Armed Forces, with their advanced armament system, are capable of securing all the strategic borders of the state, and that the Armed Forces are the nation’s bulwark against any threats that would affect Egyptian national security, and he recommended them to continue their research and add knowledge to increase the level of awareness, thus becoming fully aware of all the events and changes taking place around them at all levels.
He also expressed his pride in the active participation undertaken by the men of the armed forces to support the comprehensive development system implemented by the Egyptian state in order to add more achievements and move towards future horizons in all parts of the country, especially the pure land of Sinai.
