Egypt Daily News – UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and U.S. President Donald Trump discussed the strategic relations between their countries during a phone call on Tuesday. They emphasized efforts to strengthen these ties across various fields in a way that serves their mutual interests, within the framework of the long-standing partnership between the two nations.
The call also touched on the outcomes of the successful official visit recently made by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, to the United States. The visit witnessed the announcement of important agreements and partnerships between the two countries, particularly in artificial intelligence, advanced technology, infrastructure, and energy, which are expected to have a positive impact on the future of bilateral relations.
The two sides also reviewed several regional and international issues of mutual concern, foremost among them the developments in the Middle East and efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and maintain regional stability.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed emphasized the importance of ensuring the necessary humanitarian aid for Gaza’s residents amid the difficult humanitarian situation in the Strip. He also reaffirmed support for the two-state solution as a fundamental basis for achieving comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in the region, ensuring security and stability for all its nations and peoples.
He further highlighted the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its cooperation with the United States in ways that serve the shared developmental goals of both countries and promote peace and prosperity in the region and the world. This, he noted, aligns with the UAE’s consistent approach to supporting cooperation and development on both regional and global levels.
Both leaders also reaffirmed their commitment to advancing strategic cooperation between their countries in pursuit of their mutual interests.
