Egypt Daily News – Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Crown Prince, made a phone call on Wednesday evening with US President Donald Trump, covering various aspects of cooperation and relations between the two countries, stressing the Kingdom’s desire to expand its investments and trade relations with the United States in the next four years with a nominated amount of $600 billion.

During the call, ways of cooperation between the Kingdom and the United States of America were discussed to bring peace, security and stability to the Middle East region, in addition to strengthening bilateral cooperation to combat terrorism.

The call also discussed strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, as the Saudi Crown Prince pointed to the ability of the President’s administration, with its expected reforms in the United States, to create unprecedented economic prosperity. The Kingdom seeks to benefit from its available opportunities for partnership and investment, stressing the Kingdom’s desire to expand its investments and trade relations with the United States. United States in the next four years with an amount of $600 billion that is likely to rise if additional opportunities become available.

Trump told an audience at Davos via video call, while mentioning major announcements of investment plans by foreign companies into the country.

“But I’ll be asking the Crown Prince, who’s a fantastic guy, to round it out to around 1 trillion. I think they’ll do that, because we’ve been very good to them,” he said, referring to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
