President El-Sisi Accompanies French President on Tour of Adly Mansour Central Interchange Station

The Presidency – Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron visited Adly Mansour Central Interchange Station for the Monorail, on the sidelines of the high-level official visit of the French President to Egypt.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the two presidents inspected the station and were briefed on the facilities and services that millions of Egyptians will benefit from. They also toured the Third Line of the Cairo Metro.

President El-Sisi commended the close cooperation between Egypt and France in the field of transportation of all kinds. The President expressed appreciation for the role of various French companies in implementing transportation-related projects in Egypt, particularly in Greater Cairo, which contributes to a qualitative leap in mass transit routes in Egypt.

President El-Sisi also affirmed the state’s keenness to localize transportation-related industries and increase the percentage of local components in ongoing projects. The President emphasized the need to adhere to the specified timelines for their implementation.

The French president expressed admiration for the advanced level of the transportation sector in Egypt. He praised the modernization and development works in infrastructure and means of transportation, and affirmed France’s keenness to participate in future development projects.
