This morning, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended the Police Academy’s celebration of Graduation Day for 2025.

The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that, upon his arrival, President El-Sisi was keen to walk past the stands of the graduates’ families to salute them.

The President was received by Minister of Interior Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq and Assistant Minister of Interior and Police Academy Director Major General Dr. Nedal Youssef, who delivered a speech at the start of the celebration. He then presented to President El-Sisi a commemorative gift in the form of a model of the Academy building.

The celebration program included sports displays demonstrating physical fitness and self-defense skills, followed by combat training demonstrations, parades by the Police College cavalry, police force vehicles, and equipment of the Special Tasks Forces, concluding with the general military parade, the handover of command ceremony, and the swearing of the oath of allegiance.

President El-Sisi awarded the Order of Merit, Second Class, to the top graduates from the Police Academy students, foreign students, those with a Bachelor of Laws degree, female students with a Bachelor of Physical Education, specialized officers section students, postgraduate students, and foreign students studying at the Police Research Center.

The Minister of Interior Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq also delivered a speech on this occasion.
Concluding the graduation ceremony, President El-Sisi delivered a speech, in which he emphasized the importance of appreciating the blessings of peace and security. The President offered his sincere congratulations to the Police Academy on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.

The President urged the Police Academy and the Egyptian Military Academy to study the possibility of offering an opportunity for students of Egyptian universities to live for a week or more alongside their brothers in the police and army, as part of developing performance and enhancing the spirit of camaraderie between state institutions and the people.

President El-Sisi extended his greetings and appreciation to the families who offered their children to serve the nation. He also conveyed a message to the graduates, stating that they bear a great responsibility after their qualification and training, which is the protection of the nation’s security and safety, and therefore they must be a role model for the people, wishing them every success in performing their duties.

The President assured Egyptians regarding the internal and external situations, clarifying that despite the difficult phase the region is going through, matters in Egypt are progressing well by Allah’s will and by the great Egyptian people.

The President noted that although Egypt has faced harsh conditions and violent terrorism since 2013, yet it has been able to defeat terrorism and overcome the challenges by Allah’s will and the efforts of Egypt’s army, police, and relevant entities.

The President reaffirmed that no threat should be of concern to Egyptians as long as they are all united, indicating that every challenge can be overcome and every danger can be confronted. The President called upon Egyptians to maintain their cohesion, and emphasized that patience and resilience are the way to overcome any crisis.

Regarding the economic situation, President El-Sisi noted that indicators are constantly improving, adding that all countries face challenges. The President reiterated that the role of the youth is to bring about positive change in all fields, affirming that despite the surrounding circumstances, Egypt’s economic position is witnessing a noticeable improvement.

Concerning the external situation, President El-Sisi noted that two years have passed since the outbreak of the Gaza war; a harsh war that the region is experiencing, especially in the Gaza Strip. The President affirmed that Egypt has always been keen to positively engage with the Palestinian issue and is exerting great efforts in this regard. He clarified that Sharm El-Sheikh is currently hosting negotiations aimed at ending the war.

The President expressed his deep appreciation and respect for President Trump’s genuine will to end the war. The President stressed Egypt’s support for every effort made to find a solution. The President said a delegation arrived yesterday from the United States to meet with delegations from Egypt, Qatar, Israel, and Hamas as part of this round of negotiations to stop the war in the Gaza Strip.

The President highlighted that the American envoys came with a clear message from President Trump to end the war during this round, stressing the need to seize this opportunity.

The President conveyed a message to President Trump in his speech, urging him to continue his support and will to end the war. The President invited President Trump, in case of reaching an agreement, to come to Egypt to sign the agreement to end the war, given the world’s interest in ending the war, delivering aid, releasing hostages, and beginning the reconstruction process for the benefit of the people of Gaza and the Palestinian people in the West Bank.

The President also expressed his sincere appreciation for President Trump and his strong resolve in sending envoys with a clear mandate to end the war, wishing everyone success.

President El-Sisi extended his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Egyptian people, praising their nobility and generosity. The President looked forward to better days ahead, with the will of Allah the Almighty, adding that Egypt will not be harmed as long as its people remain united.

After the President concluded his speech, the “Salute of the Martyr” was played, followed by the national anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Following the ceremony, President El-Sisi joined senior guests for breakfast, during which the President exchanged views on the latest domestic and regional developments.
