Egypt Daily News – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, witnessed the launch of the Ras Al Hikma Development Project, in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, along with a number of senior businessmen from both the Egyptian and Emirati sides.
During the project launch events, the two presidents watched a visual presentation about the project’s goals and components, and its significant economic, investment, real estate, tourism, and environmental importance.
They also listened to an explanation about the region’s features, the integrated services, and the developmental and economic opportunities the project offers. Additionally, they witnessed the signing of contracts by several Egyptian and Emirati companies to commence work on the project.
The two presidents expressed their gratitude and appreciation to those involved in the implementation of the project from both the Egyptian and Emirati sides during the past period, emphasizing its importance in strengthening economic and investment relations between the two brotherly countries, as it represents a model of constructive developmental partnership between Egypt and the UAE.
The two presidents also witnessed the launch of a partnership by several global, Egyptian, and Emirati companies to enhance the innovation journey in the smart electric vehicle sector in the Middle East and North Africa.
