This event underscores the department’s pivotal role in disseminating military and strategic insights to the public, along with promoting morale and psychological resilience among armed forces personnel.

Significantly, today’s symposium coincides with the 51st anniversary of the October victory, a historical milestone for Egypt. The event aimed to honor the sacrifices of the Egyptian people and their armed forces in reclaiming national territories and dignity, framed by this year’s slogan, “A People’s Tale.”

The discussions presented lessons from this historical period, acknowledging the collective effort and dedication displayed by both military and civilian sectors.

The symposium featured various art forms, such as national songs, theatrical performances, documentary films, and firsthand narratives, to emphasize the heroic “story of a people” who overcame adversity with faith and determination.

A particular highlight was the recognition of the Egyptian people’s crucial role in supporting their armed forces, showcasing resilience amid challenges.

President Sisi highlighted that the victory was a collective achievement, reflecting gratitude towards the heroes of October.
