Egypt Daily News – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received John Christmann, CEO of the American company Apache, specialized in oil exploration and research, on Monday, during the Egypt International Petroleum Exhibition (EGYPS 2025).
The official spokesperson for the presidency stated that the president listened to the company’s vision regarding expanding its operations in Egypt. The president expressed Egypt’s appreciation for the scale of Apache’s activities and investments in the country, as well as its significant contributions to gas and oil exploration and production.
This strengthens the vital sector and enables it to play a key role in economic development efforts by transforming Egypt into a central hub for energy production and trade in the Eastern Mediterranean. The president also emphasized the importance of enhancing Apache’s activities and investments in Egypt to maximize the benefits of the country’s resources.
