The Suez Canal zone is considered one of the main axes of economic development in Egypt, as the state seeks to transform it into a global center for trade and logistics services. The targeted projects include establishing integrated industrial zones, developing ports, and improving the transportation network to facilitate the movement of goods.
According to economic experts, developing the region could contribute significantly to increasing Egyptian national income by attracting foreign investments and creating new job opportunities, in addition to enhancing Egypt’s role as a major hub for the global trade movement.
