Egypt Daily News – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stated that he agreed with the Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on the necessity of delivering aid to the Gaza Strip, pointing out that Egypt has been keen on this role for over a year, to alleviate as much as possible the scale of killing and hunger in Gaza.
President Sisi confirmed during a press conference with the Malaysian Prime Minister that there is no solution to end these problems except through the two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state.
He added “This is the root of the problem, and over the past 40 or 50 years, the region has not succeeded in reaching this solution and if we reach this solution, it will be a precursor to addressing the root of the problem and resolving it,” noting that he agreed with the Malaysian Prime Minister on the importance of finding solutions to the conflicts in the region, including Sudan, Syria, Libya, and Lebanon, and restoring security and stability in the area.
