Egypt Daily News – Dr. Jihan Madih, head of the Egypt October Party, appreciated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s meeting with the heads of major international and regional corporations, considering that this meeting reflects the political leadership’s commitment to supporting the industrial sector as it is one of the basic pillars for the advancement of the national economy.
Madih confirmed in her press statements today that the President revealed basic axes to enhance the localization of industry to serve as a clear roadmap for achieving sustainable industrial development, pointing out that the focus on using advanced technology, increasing the local component in products, and developing technological industries reflects an insightful vision to modernize Egypt’s industrial structure and making it competitive regionally and internationally.
She also noted the importance of the partnerships referred to by the President with regional and international entities, stressing that these partnerships will contribute to the transfer of technology and localization of knowledge, which enhances the capabilities of Egyptian workers and creates new job opportunities, pointing out that investing in vital areas such as desalination and water recycling is a strategic step that supports national projects and preserve water resources, stressing that the decisions and actions taken by the state to remove obstacles for investors enhance the confidence of foreign and local investors in the investment climate in Egypt.
Madih explained that the meeting represents a practical model of what the new republic seeks to achieve comprehensive development, noting that these efforts confirm the political leadership’s keenness to achieve the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030 and support the Egyptian economy to become a regional center for manufacturing and export.
