Egypt Daily News – The Russian Foreign Ministry said that NATO, whose membership includes 32 countries, is preparing for war with Russia, continuing: “We are committed to avoiding direct confrontation with it.”
According to a press statement by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, today, Friday, commenting on the West’s reaction to the proposal of Russian President Vladimir Putin, which he presented yesterday for a high-tech duel, to choose a site to strike with an “Oreshnik” missile in Kiev, and to concentrate all their forces of Western air defense and missile defense to try to intercept it.
She continued: “Western leaders talk daily about strikes deep inside Russia, and no one in these countries pays attention to what such statements mean, and they do not remember international and humanitarian law and human rights.
The rhetoric of (inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia) has become firmly rooted in the mentality of NATO systems, and not Not at all as a theoretical hypothesis, bit indeed, billions are allocated to this doctrine for its practical implementation. Let them think now what it means to live in the conditions they impose on others.
Grushko: NATO’s behavior is hostile
For his part, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said on Friday that NATO is preparing to engage in an armed conflict with his country, stressing that Moscow takes these risks into account in its military planning.
In statements reported by the Russian TASS news agency, Grushko considered that the general course of the alliance constitutes a danger to Russia and to the entire regional and global security structure.
He added: “The aggressive behavior of the alliance and the direct risks associated with it to Russian security are taken into account in our military construction and defense planning,” noting that his country always follows the path of avoiding direct conflict, stressing that it is in everyone’s interest not to escalate the situation to this extent.
Russia threatens NATO
Russia is still threatening revenge and accountability after the killing of the commander of the chemical and biological defense forces in the Russian army, Igor Kirillov, who died last Tuesday as a result of an explosion in front of his house in Moscow, while Ukraine claimed responsibility for the operation.
According to the Russian Investigative Committee, on the morning of December 17, on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow, an explosive device placed on a motorcycle that was parked next to the entrance to a house exploded, killing the commander of the Russian Chemical and Biological Defense Forces, Igor Kirillov, and his assistant.
