Egypt Daily News – Liverpool achieved its second successive victory in the English Premier League this season by defeating its guest, Brentford, in the second stage on Sunday.
Colombian Luis Diaz scored Liverpool’s first goal in the 13th minute, then Egyptian star Mohamed Salah added the second in the 70th minute.
Salah celebrated his goal for the second time by throwing an arrow from a bow. He celebrated with a bow and arrow for the first time when he scored against Ipswich Town in the first round.
Liverpool raised its score to six points at the top, on par with Manchester City, Arsenal and Brighton, while Brentford’s score froze at three points in 13th place.
